Accreditations & Exams

Bolton Mark

Dawson's Academy is the first dance school in Bolton to receive accreditation from the Bolton Council with the Bolton Silver Mark.

Awarded by Bolton Council’s Sport, Health and Inclusion Service, this accreditation recognises the development and commitment of clubs that are deemed safe, effective and child-friendly.

Arts Award

Miss Dawn Dawson has now completed assessor training for the Bronze & Silver Arts Award.

The mission of Arts Award is to support young people who want to deepen their engagement with the arts, build creative and leadership skills, and to achieve a national qualification.

Through Arts Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, young people aged 11-25 can explore any of the art forms including performing arts, visual arts, literature, media and multimedia.

The award builds confidence, helps young people to enjoy cultural activities, and prepares them for further education or employment.

As an assessor Miss Dawn can now take young people through the Bronze and Silver awards allowing them to develop and receive recognition for their achievements.
