By Car
The Academy is situated in the town centre and is therefore easily accessible by car. There are two car parks directly behind the school off Back Cheapside and numerous others nearby.
Pupils can also be easily dropped off outside the Academy entrance on Back Cheapside!
Use the above map to reach Great Moor Street. Turn into Back Cheapside and the entrance to the Academy is on the right.
By Bus
The bus station is approximately two minutes away from the Academy.
If walking from the bus station, directions are as follows:
- Head south on A676/Moor Lane toward Ormrod Street
- Turn left at Ormrod Street
- Turn left at New Street
- Turn right to stay on New Street
- Turn right to stay on New Street
- Turn left at Black Horse Street
- Turn right at A6172/Black Horse Street
- Continue to follow Black Horse Street
- Turn left at Back Cheapside
- The entrance to the Academy is on your right
By Train
The train station is within 5 minutes walking distance from the Academy and 2 minutes by car.
If walking from the train station, directions are as follows:
- Head west on A579/Trinity St toward Newport Street
- Turn right at Newport Street

If driving from the train station, directions are as follows:
